Lamplighter Performance Consulting provides executive public speaking coaching in a private one-to-one format. Busy executives and business owners have the opportunity to build superior public speaking skills in a confidential environment with a schedule convenient to you. Improving your public speaking skills helps you to connect with your stakeholders,clearly communicate your vision and inspire others in your business. Our Executive Public Speaking Coaching uses the same principles that make Authentic Speaking® a world-class system for building engaging and persuasive public speaking and presentation skills. This is all achieved without trying to turn you into a carbon copy of other speakers or a caricature of over-the-top “motivational speakers”. Instead, we work with your natural personality, gifts, strengths and interests to help you find your Authentic and powerful voice in speaking with groups – from small meetings to media engagements to large public events. What We Do . . . We begin with assessment and setting goals through an interview and discussion with you. This can also be tied into feedback from colleagues and assessment of videotaped presentations that you have already delivered. Program You should plan on meeting at least once a month for 3 hours over the program duration. A more effective program will be six-month or a year's program. (Shorter programs may be developed as needed.) A program is developed that address your individual needs and goals over the coaching period. We devise a schedule around your speaking engagements such as presentations, meetings, awards nights or your AGM. This way, you are working on real presentations through your coaching. By taping the results, we also have your results for analysis and feedback, so that you can make tremendous, evidence-based improvements over time. Shorter sessions may be scheduled for rehearsal immediately prior to that important event. These may be conducted at the site for your presentation. During sessions, you will speak under the coach's guidance - sometimes on a topic that you have prepared in advance, sometimes on imromptu topics. You will be videotaped frequently and use this tape for real-time evaluation and improvement. Your coach will be seeking to use your own natural strengths, passions and experiences throughout, so that you can be authentic and persuasive for your audience.A Partnership We work with you or your company to achieve your goals.
